The T20 Max semi-finals tomorrow will feature table-toppers Norths against defending T20 champions Gold Coast from 1pm, while second-placed Souths will take on Wests at 6.30pm.
Both games are at Allan Border Field.
The winners will meet in the inaugural Final on Sunday from 1pm, with the match following the free Brisbane Heat Family Day from 11am.
Norths lost just one game in the regular season round and finished with the leading runs-scorer in clean-hitting opener Josh Brown (447 runs at 63.86) and leading wicket-taker Scott Rodgie, the Sydney Northern Districts paceman who claimed 16 wickets at 11.63.
Former Queensland allrounder Nathan McSweeney, a replacement player for the Brisbane Heat last season, has also enjoyed a solid campaign with 277 runs and 14 wickets. Rodgie’s Sydney clubmate Ross Pawson (13 wickets) has also impressed with his off-spin.
South Brisbane made a second week surge that saw them vault into second spot off the back of some match-winning hitting from Sydney Thunder and former Heat allrounder Ben Cutting as well as a run of three half centuries from interstate recruit Dylan Hunter (240 runs, strike-rate of 167).
The Sandhu brothers, Bulls paceman Gurinder and brother Harmon, have also caught the eye with their efforts with the ball.
Third placed Wests welcomed the return of a prodigal son, with former Heat allrounder Chris Sabburg enjoying being back at Graceville. Sabburg, who played for the Perth Scorchers last summer, claimed 15 wickets and along with the consistency of batting trump Sam Truloff (289 runs), evergreen Steve Paulsen (230 runs) and the spin of ex-Thunder player Arjun Nair (11 wickets) helped take the Bulldogs into the Finals.
Gold Coast finished strongly thanks to excellent returns from pace bowler from Jackson Smith (14 wickets at 15.56) and Brisbane Heat and Queensland Bulls batsman Max Bryant (325 runs at a strike rate of 160.89).
All matches will be streamed on Kayo Freebies.
The women's premiership gets underway as well tomorrow, with the opening round of the Katherine Raymont Shield featuring Queensland Fire and WBBL Heat players in action for their respective Premier clubs.
