Volunteer of the Year | Bayside East & Redlands

Queensland Cricket is very proud of the outstanding contribution these volunteers make to the success of cricket in Queensland, and the work of these individuals, clubs and associations make at the grassroots level represents a major stake in the overall strength of the game.

Twelve incredible volunteers will be recognised across the state at the upcoming Queensland Cricket Awards Gala. In the lead up to the awards, their contributions to the game will be shared across Queensland Cricket’s social media channels.

The eleventh volunteer to be recognised is Andrea Pullar, Volunteer of the year in Bayside East & Redlands.

Andrea has been an integral member of the Bulimba Cricket Club Management Committee for an extended period of time, not only acting in the role of Vice-President and handling the entire grounds and infrastructure maintenance which includes grant applications.

This involved working with groundsmen, vendors, council and our grounds co-lease club on a daily basis and also taking on the role of Registrar for the 2022-23 season. This additional workload in a volunteer capacity is beyond commendable and which the club was very thankful for.
