Foundation Supports Queensland Nepalese Cricket Association

The Queensland Cricket Foundation will contribute $3000 to the Queensland Nepalese Cricket Association.

This donation will provide reimbursement for cricket balls for the Winter Tournament which took place last year between June and October. 

Funds for this donation were sourced from the Containers for Change initiative held during the summer at Allan Border Field in which $1,800 was raised via the COEX bins around the grounds. 

We thank Containers for Change for all their support and look forward to working with the QNCA for further funding support moving forward.

Queensland Cricket's indigenous artwork was collaboratively designed by Queensland Fire player and proud Kunja woman Mikayla Hinkley and Brisbane Indigenous artist, Delores McDonald (“Aunty Delly”).

The centre circle represents the Gabba, alongside other water holes which used to be near the ground. 87 black strokes on red earth represent the wickets taken by Aboriginal great, Eddie Gilbert who played 23 games for Queensland.
