Queensland’s Round 2 of the Australian Cricket Infrastructure Fund (ACIF) for 2024-25 is officially open today!
Round 2 of the Australian Cricket Infrastructure Fund Opens
The joint initiative between Cricket Australia and Queensland Cricket aims to continue the development and growth of cricket facilities across the state to allow clubs, associations, schools and councils to nurture our talent, foster community engagement, and enhance the overall cricketing experience in Queensland.
The first round of the Australian Cricket Infrastructure Fund saw funding allocated towards a total of 28 projects across the state. Amongst these successful applicants were 21 projects (75%) from regional Queensland, aligning with Queensland Cricket’s commitment to regional Queensland.
General Manager of Community Cricket & Infrastructure, Matt Richards said “Whether it’s upgrading a pitch or constructing inclusive amenities, the ACIF provides the opportunity for Queenslanders to build the facilities they need to grow participation. We look forward to seeing the positive impact of the ACIF once again this season.”
The closing date of the fund will be Thursday 10th of April, with successful announcements to be made before the end of financial year.
