Joseph Dawes
General Manager – Elite Cricket
Joseph recently returned to Queensland Cricket in a senior cricket role, after a successful playing, coaching and policing career both in Queensland and overseas. As the General Manager, Joseph's key focus is to lead all areas of Elite Cricket, which incorporates Elite Teams, Elite Physical Performance and Elite Cricket Operations.

Nick Stuart
Head of Elite Cricket Operations
Nick has worked in cricket for 14 years and joined Queensland Cricket in July 2021, after beginning at South Australian Cricket Association. A key part of Nick's role is to oversee all Elite Cricket Operations, comprising of Premier Cricket, Umpiring, Elite Teams Operations and Elite Player Development.

Matthew Skinner
Umpire & Conducts Lead
Matthew joined Queensland Cricket in August 2021, bringing his experience as a Premier Cricket Umpire and as a sports administrator to Queensland Cricket. Matthew’s key focus is on growing the number of accredited umpires throughout Queensland and extending our training and education base to enable every umpire to develop to their full potential.

Alex Laube
Premier Cricket Officer
Alex’s involvement with Queensland Cricket began in July 2019, initially as a Community Cricket Coordinator and after 2 seasonal stints with the Brisbane Heat working across memberships and events, joined the Premier Cricket team in May 2021. As part of Alex's role, he leads all events, media, finance and projects in Premier Cricket, and is a key contact for stakeholders.

Daniel Bevan
Premier Cricket & Umpire Coordinator
Daniel has been with Queensland Cricket since August 2023, joining the Premier Cricket team as part of his AFL SportsReady Traineeship, having previous experience at AFLQ as a Game Development Officer. Daniel takes the lead on all cricket operational matters in Premier Cricket, and also helps with the recruitment of new umpires into Queensland.

Kevin’s involvement with cricket in Queensland began in 2004, joining the Conducts Commissioner panel at Queensland Cricket, before also working as a Match Referee for Cricket Australia. Kevin has worked as a Barrister-at-Law based in Brisbane for 25 years.

Jim Veivers
Conducts Commissioner
After a successful Umpiring career that began in 1996, Jim joined Queensland Cricket as a Conducts Commissioner in 2006. Jim has been involved with Australian Law for the past 49 years, initially serving as a Police Officer, before becoming a Senior Barrister-at-Law.

Roly O'Regan
Conducts Commissioner
Roly has volunteered at Queensland Cricket since 2007, combining his loves of cricket and law. Roly is Owner and Director/Lawyer of Ryan Murdoch O’Regan Lawyers (RMO Law), where he specialises in Commercial and Criminal Law.

Luke Feldman
Conducts Commissioner
Luke recently returned to Queensland Cricket in 2022, after a successful playing, coaching and policing career in Queensland. Luke is involved at many levels of cricket in Queensland, most notably as a QLD Bulls Men’s Selector, Conducts Commissioner and Bulls Masters Mentor.

Aaron Dixon

Aaron currently works with Australia’s largest biomedical company, CSL, and joined the Conducts Commissioner panel in 2022. Aaron combines this role with his involvement at Sandgate-Redcliffe, where he volunteers as Director of Women’s Cricket and Board Member.

Don MacKenzie
Conducts Commissioner
Don joined the Conducts Commissioner panel in 2022, after working within the Criminal Justice System for over 30 years. Currently, Don works as a Coroner in Brisbane Magistrates Court and is an officer in the Royal Australian Navy.

Bruce Wacker

Bruce commenced as a Conducts Commissioner with Queensland Cricket in 2023. With more than 20 years’ experience as a lawyer, Bruce practises as a barrister specialising in commercial law with a particular focus on the regulation of professional conduct.

Scott’s involvement with cricket in Queensland first began as an Umpire, and following, joined the Conducts Commissioner panel in 2023. Scott has over 25 years of experience in Commercial Litigation, working currently as a Solicitor and is Partner at Hickey Lawyers.

Ian Barsby
QCUSA Representative – Current Umpire
Ian started umpiring in 1998 after a long playing career and made his Men's First Grade umpiring debut in 2001. Ian has stood in more than 650 matches in all forms of the game and combines his role on the Premier Cricket Committee with his involvement at QCUSA, where he volunteers as a Committee Member.

After a playing career at Western Suburbs, University of Queensland and Richmond (UK), Daniel joined the Premier Cricket Committee in 2020. Daniel is currently the Secretary at Western Suburbs, the Vice President of Australian Lawyers Cricket, and also a Partner at national law firm, Gadens.

Aryan Jain
Club Representative – Current Male Player
Aryan has previously represented the Queensland Bulls and joined the Premier Cricket Committee in 2024. Aryan works as a Senior Consultant at EY, specialising in Digital Risk, and plays for South Brisbane in the Men's First Grade competition.

Club Representative – Female Program
A current player at Northern Suburbs, Victoria joined the Premier Cricket Committee in 2024. Victoria works as a Manager at KPMG, within the Valuations team and is a CFA® Charterholder.

Tess Cooper
Club Representative – Current Female Player
A former Queensland Fire and Brisbane Heat player, Tess joined the Premier Cricket Committee in 2021. Tess is currently the captain of Sandgate-Redcliffe's Women's First Grade team, and alongside this, works as a Physiotherapist.

Peter Parker
State Umpire Coach
In a First Class career spanning three decades, Peter stood in 10 Test matches, 65 One Day Internationals, and 2 T20 Internationals, as well as 99 First Class and 66 List A matches. Peter has worked with elite and emerging officials in Western Australia and Tasmania, and in his role as State Umpire Coach will work closely with Queensland Cricket’s State Umpire Panel and Development Umpire Panel.

Jim Torpey
Premier Cricket Umpire Coach
Jim played with both Kalinga and West Brisbane in Second Division, before starting his umpiring career with QCA Grade Cricket in season 1990/91. Jim stood in 13 First Class and 11 List A matches, and after retiring from the Cricket Australia panel, volunteered on Queensland Cricket's Conducts Commissioner Panel for 20 years. In this role, Jim will work closely with the Premier Cricket umpiring group, observers and coaches, and provide training and development to Community Cricket competitions.
