The Queensland Cricket Infrastructure Strategy 2023-2028 provides the Queensland cricket community and its stakeholders with a clear framework and strategic priorities for cricket infrastructure across the state. The Strategy provides overarching state-wide and Premier Cricket infrastructure priorities, as well as identifying priority projects across each of Queensland Cricket’s twelve cricket regions.
This update of the Strategy acknowledges the emergence of new opportunities and priorities since its initial development in 2018 and aligns with Queensland Cricket’s Strategic Plan 2022 – 2025.
Strategic priorities were developed by identifying projects that contribute to Queensland Cricket’s strategic objectives to drive participation growth and develop our talented cricketers. Prioritisation of projects also considers the progression of design development, stakeholder engagement, and co-funding to ensure that projects identified as priorities will commence within twelve months of receiving necessary funding.
The Strategy helps to guide investment from government sources, and cricket’s own Australian Cricket Infrastructure Fund.
