Start collecting: collect eligible containers in bags, boxes or bins around your club.

Step 4

Spread the word: Share your club member number with your cricketing community to boost container refund donations. Encourage them to use your member number when they return containers.

What Containers Can You Return?

Most aluminium, glass, plastic, steel and popper beverage containers between 150ml and 3L are eligible for a 10-cent refund. Wine and spirit bottles will be eligible from 1 November 2023. Visit the Containers for Change website to check what you can return with their eligibility scanner.

Queensland Cricket's indigenous artwork was collaboratively designed by Queensland Fire player and proud Kunja woman Mikayla Hinkley and Brisbane Indigenous artist, Delores McDonald (“Aunty Delly”).

The centre circle represents the Gabba, alongside other water holes which used to be near the ground. 87 black strokes on red earth represent the wickets taken by Aboriginal great, Eddie Gilbert who played 23 games for Queensland.
