Valley shared the spoils, with experienced Chris Coulson (2-17), Eleanor Swanpoel (2-12) and Megan McCartney (2-21) all amongst the wickets.

Brisbane Heat and Queensland Fire batter Mikayla Hinkley ensured their Finals berth with a composed 54 from 36 balls as they finished 2-86.

University batted with authority against the Scorchers, reaching 6-152 thanks to a sparkling 79 from 58 balls by Emma Jackson while Anlo van Deventer hit 29.

The Scorchers were dismissed for 107 thanks to superb bowling from Charni Bloxom (4-12) and strong support from spinner Laura Scheiwe (2-13) and Gillan Chalmers (2-35). Tarah Staines (27) and Mikayla Wrigley (25) tried valiantly but the Students were too strong.
