After two seasons in hiatus due to the pandemic, the championships in Hobart in January will provide players from throughout Queensland with the chance to compete against their peers.
Most of the squad have played in the KFC Queensland Premier Cricket competition, both in the Lord’s Taverners Under-17 competition and throughout the senior grades, as well as being part of the Queensland Under-16 State championships.
Cairns pace bowler Seth McGinty, a first grade player for Rovers in the Cricket Far North competition, has earned selection from regional Queensland.
Selectors also named an additional four players to be part of an extended squad for their preparations leading into the titles.
Experienced mentor Gavin Fitness, who has been part of the Queensland Bulls and Brisbane Heat coaching staff, will be the head coach for the titles, with Ryan Harris as his assistant.
The titles will be held from 16-23 January, 2023.
