The National Cricket Inclusion Championships will return to Marchant Park, Chermside for a second year in a row.
Inclusion Championships Return to Brisbane
The competition will see the best blind and vision impaired, deaf and hard of hearing and intellectually disabled cricketers, battle it out for state supremacy.
In a showcase of the growth that the cricket inclusion programs are having, season 23-24 will see Queensland enter its first women’s deaf and hard of hearing side since the competition’s inception.
Furthermore, off the back of a highly successful women’s blind cricket tour of the U.K., Cricket Australian will host a series of women’s blind exhibition matches, that will include talented cricketers that did not make their state’s main side.
Queenslanders Sophie Drew, Nicole Rowling and Danae Sweetapple will also feature in the national exhibition matches.
