Elite Cricket is focused on developing pathways to help players reach the elite level.

2. SSSM to Elite Physical Performance

Elite Cricket is using a systematic approach to help players achieve elite physical performance.

3. Creation of the QC Academy

Elite Cricket has created the QC Academy to support the development of elite players and coaches.

 

Regional Talent

Collaboration

The QC Academy is working with regional CATS to identify needs and develop and build on their existing player network.

Coaching Support

Specialist coaches from the QC Academy will undertake regional visits for player and coach development.

Funding

Queensland Cricket's indigenous artwork was collaboratively designed by Queensland Fire player and proud Kunja woman Mikayla Hinkley and Brisbane Indigenous artist, Delores McDonald (“Aunty Delly”).

The centre circle represents the Gabba, alongside other water holes which used to be near the ground. 87 black strokes on red earth represent the wickets taken by Aboriginal great, Eddie Gilbert who played 23 games for Queensland.
